Booking and Payment

Bookings are accepted under the terms and conditions detailed below, placing a booking indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions.

A booking will be confirmed when a deposit has been received and the final payment should be paid 6 weeks before arrival date.

A strictly non-returnable deposit is required with confirmation of bookings.

All weekly bookings are taken from Saturday to Saturday.

All cheques should be made payable to Tom McClean Enterprises.

All booking deposits must be received within 21 days of making the provisional reservation.

The Hirer is responsible for payment of the booking deposit and the groups full final payments due to Ardintigh Highland Outdoor Centre (including any cancellation charges) and where an organisation is named in the application, the officers or representatives of that organisation shall also be considered to be the Hirer and shall be jointly and severally liable with the Hirer for all payments due.

The Bunk rooms and Jocks Lodge remain accessible at all times so please take care of personal items as we cannot accept responsibility for any losses or damage

Safety and Insurance

Self-instructing groups should make sure that they have qualified instructors with them that have the current National Governing Body Awards appropriate to the activity programme they are running.

For water based activities, participants should be confident in water.

The Centre holds public liability cover; however we strongly recommend that you take out personal insurance against accident, injury, loss of possessions and cancellation of booking. The Ardintigh Highland Outdoor Centre can accept no responsibility for loss, damage or personal injury over and above its legal liability.


All Cancellations must be in writing.

If you cancel more than 12 weeks before the start of your booking your deposit will be retained. If you cancel more than 8 weeks before the start of your visit to Ardintigh, you will be charged 50% of the overall cost of your booking. If you cancel less than 8 weeks before the start of your visit to Ardintigh, you will be charged 75% of the overall cost of your booking fee.

The Hirer agrees to ensure that at the end of the hire period the premises at the Centre are left in a clean and tidy state and that for the comfort and safety of others any damages to property or equipment are to be reported straight away and paid for at replacement value.
